In its willingness to always implement best practices and generate shared value, the Austrian Business Development Group (ABDG) has decided to align its activity as well as the one from its different entities, with the United Nations (UN) 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's).
Since 2007, the Austrian Business Development Group (ABDG) has prided itself for its constant quest for self-improvement and wishful desire to always the highest level of excellence while creating shared value for both the society and the company.
In light of today's challenges, ABDG has decided to move further to create a more sustainable overall environment in Kuwait by aligning its vision and activities with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through its various entities, present in different sectors of the economy, the Group has experienced great success in improving best practices while giving back to society. Amongst the most prominent examples, Ves Vas has collaborated with Trash Tag to clean Kuwait's beaches. Also, we are aiming by 2022 to be ultimately plastic-free.
Finally, we are building an internship program to provide young talents with unique opportunities to have access to professionals who will mentor them for them to grow both professionally and personally to stand out once they enter the labor force eventually. Our initiatives range from environmental protection to women and youth empowerment to the reduction of food wastage.
Our admiration and support for what the UN does will guide us every step of the way. We sincerely wish to inspire others to do the same, so our economies can finally sustainably reach their full potential!
